Halong 1 hotel, built in 1935, is the only one that bears the name of the bay and has been listed in The Tourist International Directory for a long time. In 1994, the Actualidad Hosteleray Turistica organization (Spain) granted it the Golden Deer cup at the Madrid International Tourist Fair.
